It feels like something just clicks in my beauty brain when it’s time to trade in my pastels for darker Fall friendly polishes. White polish just doesn’t feel right when I’m layering jackets and scarves to take on this weather.
Prior to this, I have never owned or worn any Zoya polishes! Isn’t that crazy? I see them all the time in Ulta but literally just pass without a second glance. The colors from their Focus & Flair Fall 2015 display jumped out at me and I was feeling risky enough to take a chance on them!
Charli is a grey-based olive green that makes for a perfect neutral. I like it because it’s on trend, and can be worn with anything without taking away from your look.
Giada is a gorgeous purple with a mirror finish and slight fuchsia iridescence. I love this color! Sometimes black polish is too harsh for me and I love this as a girly alternative. It still gives you the satisfaction of wearing a dark polish but with a cool and different finish
The quality of these Zoya polishes totally exceeded my expectations. The brush makes for easy application and the formula spreads and lays evenly without clumping. Im wearing both polishes without a top coat to show it’s true color and I’m really impressed!
They are so extremely pigmented, I only used one coat of Charli and you can’t even tell. Usually with iridescent polishes like Giada, you have issues with uneven application but two even coats gave me the exact color you see in the bottle and that is important to me.
This is just the beginning for my Fall nail purchases, but I’m off to a good start. I’m sure to be heading back for more Zoya!
Have you tried a new polish brand lately?
