September Favorites

September was a good month for new staples! There are always great beauty releases this time of year and I was excited to get my hands on a couple of them, while adding something fresh to my current routine.

Here are a few products that stood out for me this month:

BECCA Backlight Priming Filter

I raved about this just last week but it’s already become a staple in my routine. I love how the radiant pearl finish comes through my foundation and gives a glowing radiance to my complexion. My makeup sits nicer on my skin and just looks better. I can’t imagine being without it!

NARS Casino Bronzer

Another staple to my makeup routine. I didn’t realize how much of a favorite this product was until I tried to use a different bronzer that left my cheeks looking muddy! A bit pricey, but blends so smoothly that your contour area will never look chalky and uneven. It also has a great brown tone that doesn’t come off too orange or gray, like a lot of bronzers tend to do.

Custom MAC Shadow Quad

This hasn’t left my makeup bag since I received it! It makes choosing shadow so easy and allows me to take an easy laid back approach to my eye shadows instead of having to have precise application. It doesn’t matter what order you apply these shadows because they compliment one another so well that it will always look good. It makes me a bit lazy with my makeup routine but I love the comfort of a sure thing.

MAC Vamplify Gloss in Anything but Demure

A go-to nude gloss that has replaced all my summer pinks. I really love the texture and the way the formula wears over time. It never gets sticky or tacky and really compliments any look. I just wish it wasn’t limited edition!

Nivea Moisture Balm Olive Oil & Lemon

I love the sweet refreshing scent of this balm. I have been looking for a great lip balm that would be intensely moisturizing but in the meantime, I found this and really enjoyed it! It’s not as penetrating of a salve as I was looking for but I enjoy it for using before lipstick and when on the go. I’m still on the hunt for a long-term lip chap fix, but this is a favorite until I find it!
