Grace’s Favorite At-Home Learning Tools

I talked about this a little before but I’m seriously jealous of women who have the gift of patience to homeschool their children. I’m sure it’s something I could do if I committed myself, but it is surely not something I’m naturally inclined to! Still, I do what I can. Grace attends Pre-school full-time during the week but for after school or those times when we travel, I have found that being prepared is key! I don’t have lesson plans…

Five Things I’ve Learned as a Young Mother

I would love to encourage you with a couple major points I’ve learned and that I use to continuously keep myself on track and encouraged as a young mother.   Children are a blessing and never a hindrance   This was a serious battle I had to overcome in my journey of motherhood. I walked across the stage of my college graduation at 21 years old and three months pregnant. Although I was excited about what was to come, I’m…

God’s Grace

April 1, 2010 I found out I was pregnant. April Fools Day. Palm Sunday. The happiest, yet scariest day of my life. I was in my last semester of my senior year of college, I was in a…

How Do You Unwind?

When I get overwhelmed, all I want to do is lay around and scroll through Instagram all day. It’s like my mind instinctively shuts down and no longer wants to contribute to being productive. I just don’t produce well in overdrive, and I’ve always been that way! Fortunately, as I’m aware of my limits, I’m also aware of how to hit my reset button. | Disconnect | The most obvious form of procrastination is glued to my hand all day. My phone!…

Shopping for Grace!

Grace is at the age where I constantly feel like I can’t keep enough clothes in her closet. She outgrows everything within a couple months, and she can get pretty messy so I’m always having to replenish her little wardrobe. I definitely shop for her substantially more than I shop for myself, and that says a lot! Lol. I love seeing the cute little babies and toddlers dressed like their mommies on Instagram or with their cute accessories and sunglasses,…
